JAKE DUDLEY
Jake was born in England. He began playing golf at 14 years old and fell in love quickly with the game. Within 5 years of playing golf, he reduced his handicap from 32 to scratch and began to pursue a career in the game.
Jake turned professional at 22 and began studying his PGA training at the University of Birmingham, this while working full time as a PGA Professional at Herons’ Reach Golf Resort for 6 years. His role focused on Custom Fitting, Coaching, Retail and Golf Operations. It was here he fell in love for the Custom Fitting process and helping people improve their golf through expert advice on the correct golf equipment for them.
Jake has 6 years custom fitting all level of golfers from complete beginners to professional golfers. He prides himself on being honest and giving people a truly unique experience on all his Custom Fit sessions.
JAKE'S CUSTOM FIT PHILOSOPHY
Good custom fitting is a marriage of science and art.
It requires a meticulous person who knows what works, is willing to put in the time and effort, and can give the customer critical feedback. The goal is to improve accuracy, balance, consistency, distance, efficiency, and feel.
Good fitting is not about hitting a 350-yard drive once a round. It is about consistently maximizing your distance and accuracy.

The Academy is home to our award winning golf shop. We are extremely honored that Vattanac Golf Resort has been awarded a 2023 AGM Platinum Award by the Association of Golf Merchandisers (AGM). Vattanac Golf Resort was also awarded “Best of the best” certification coming in the Top 10 globally. Recognizing the Retail teams operational practices, merchandising standards and promotional Activity.

The golf shop also offers all the latest golf clubs including Titleist, Callaway, Ping and Honma. All the latest golf clubs come in demo for you to test with our Custom Fit specialist Jake.
