Vattanac Golf Resort was honored to welcome the 5th Samdech Techo Prime Minister Championship on 25 December 2021.

The successful tournament with over than 100 participants became a memorable page in the history of our golf resort.

Led by Cambodian Prime Minister Samdech Akka Moha Sena Padei Techo Hun Sen himself, the tournament was attended by many high ranking government officials such as National Assembly President Samdech Heng Samrin, Deputy Prime Minister/Interior Minister Samdech Sar Kheng, Deputy Prime Minister/Defence Minister Samdech Tea Banh, Minister of Tourism H.E. Thong Khon, Minister of Industry, Science, Technology & Innovation H.E. Cham Prasidh and Minister of Land Management, Urban Planning and Construction H.E. Chea Sophara.

Top executives of major companies, including Huawei Cambodia, Bank of China, Vattanac Group and many others were also a part of the tournament, together with Japanese Ambassador H.E. Mr. Mikami Masahiro, Chinese Ambassador H.E. Mr. Wang Wentian and other foreign envoys.

The fifth edition of the tournament was held in collaboration with the National Police, Ministry of Tourism and Cambodian Golf Federation.

A team led by Director General of Immigration Kirth Chantharith topped the tournament, followed by teams headed by DPM Bin Chhin (2nd place) and Ouk Khmouch (3rd place).

The Nick Faldo-designed Vattanac Golf Resort is one of the top golf courses in the country. In 2021 World Golf Awards named Vattanac Golf Resort The best golf course in Cambodia.
